School – Parents Dashboard

Project Overview

Developed a smart School Management System designed to improve communication, transparency, and operational efficiency between schools and parents. The platform provides a centralized digital solution where parents can easily access important student information, academic reports, and school updates through a dedicated Parent Dashboard. The Parent Dashboard offers real-time access to student progress, attendance reports, and school notifications, enabling parents to stay informed about their child’s academic activities. The platform also supports smooth communication between parents and school management, helping maintain better engagement and collaboration. To enhance student safety and transportation monitoring, the system includes a Real-Time Bus Tracking feature integrated with GPS and Google Maps. This functionality allows parents and school administrators to monitor the live location and speed of school buses, ensuring better visibility and improved safety for students during transit. The platform was further modernized by migrating the frontend from a legacy PHP-based interface to React.js, resulting in faster performance, a dynamic user interface, and an improved user experience. The system focuses on delivering a responsive, efficient, and user-friendly digital environment for managing school operations and keeping parents connected with their child’s academic journey.
